After a B.A. Hons in German and Philosophy from Durham University, Ralph Bridle started to work as an actor
and director from 1969 -1973 on Belfast and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals 1975 he moved from London to Germany,
where he first worked as an Assistant Director of Hans Neuenfels, Jürgen Flimm, Dieter Giesing, Boy Gobert and
Georgij Tostonogow, at Schauspielhaus Köln and Thalia Theater in Hamburg .
From 1985 - 87 he was the Artistic Director of Theater Kiel.
